Terms of Sale and Liability Waiver for SomAstrology SolPlay Services

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This document contains important information regarding your rights and obligations, as well as conditions, limitations, and exclusions that apply to you. Please read it carefully. These Terms of Sale require the use of arbitration to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials. By placing an order for products or services through this website, you accept and are bound by these terms and conditions.

You may not order or obtain products or services from this website if (A) you do not agree to these terms, (B) you are not the older of (i) at least 18 years of age or (ii) legal age to form a binding contract with Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC, or (C) you are prohibited from accessing or using this website or any of its contents, goods, or services by applicable law.

These terms apply to purchases made through https://www.lightontherapy.com (the "Site"). These terms are subject to change by Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") without prior notice. The latest version of these terms will be posted on this site. Your continued use of this site after a posted change in these terms constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to such changes.

Acknowledgment of Services Provided SomAstrology SolPlay™ is an experiential framework designed for self-discovery and healing, integrating traditional therapeutic modalities (such as EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Depth Psychology) with holistic practices (including Vedic astrology, palmistry, tarot, and expressive arts). These services are distinct from evidence-based psychotherapy and are not intended as a substitute for licensed mental health treatment.

Separation of Traditional Therapy and SomAstrology SolPlay™ Services

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I offer both traditional psychotherapy services and SomAstrology SolPlay™ services. By engaging in SomAstrology SolPlay™, you acknowledge that this is not a licensed therapeutic service and does not constitute mental health treatment under Florida law. Clients seeking psychotherapy will be provided with a separate informed consent document outlining the scope, expectations, and limitations of traditional therapy services.

Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and engaging in SomAstrology SolPlay™ services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • These services are exploratory and interpretive in nature, and no specific outcomes or results are guaranteed.

  • Vedic astrology readings are based on birth data provided by the client. The accuracy of these readings depends on the precision of birth details (date, time, and location). Any discrepancies in birth time may impact the interpretation.

  • Palmistry, tarot, and astrology are interpretive arts and do not predict future events with certainty; they are intended for insight and self-reflection.

  • You assume full responsibility for any personal interpretations or decisions made based on these services.

  • SomAstrology SolPlay™ is not a replacement for medical, legal, psychological, or financial advice. If you require professional services in these areas, you should seek assistance from a qualified professional.

To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law, you agree to waive, release, and hold harmless Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC and its representatives from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of SomAstrology SolPlay™ services.

Legal Protections and Compliance Under Florida Law

  • Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC operates in compliance with Florida statutes governing holistic wellness and complementary healing practices. SomAstrology SolPlay™ services are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological conditions.

  • In accordance with Florida law, no claims are made regarding the medical or therapeutic efficacy of astrology, tarot, or palmistry.

  • Clients engaging in these services acknowledge that they are for educational and personal insight purposes only.

Order Acceptance and Cancellation

By placing an order for services, you acknowledge that your request is an offer to purchase. All orders must be accepted by us before a contract for services is formed. You will receive confirmation upon acceptance of your order.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Payment is due within 3 days of scheduling a reading. Failure to submit payment within this period will result in cancellation of your session.

  • Cancellations or reschedules must occur at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session are not eligible for a refund. If Cancellations occur outside of the aforementioned policy, Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC reserves the right to to charge for the full amount of the session.

Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the services provided. All information offered through SomAstrology SolPlay™ is for personal exploration and self-reflection only. You acknowledge that our services do not replace professional medical, legal, or financial advice.

Limitation of Liability (a) In no event shall we be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, exemplary, special, or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. (b) Our total liability will not exceed the amounts paid by you for the services related to the claim.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts located within Florida. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration (a) You and Living Eclectic Traditions, LLC agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, waiving any right to a trial by jury. (b) Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. (c) Disputes will be resolved individually; class action arbitration is not permitted.

By purchasing or engaging in SomAstrology SolPlay™ services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this document. You affirm that you are voluntarily participating in these services and assume full responsibility for your engagement.
